Frequently asked questions

*What should I expect in a therapy session? IMG_0890copy

Therapy sessions are very gentle and non-invasive. Bowen moves are made over specific points on the body either on skin or through thin clothing. A therapy session usually lasts from 40 minutes to 1 hour. The therapist will ask you to lie on the therapy table (or to sit if more comfortable), with a blanket covering you, and make sure that you are comfortable and warm. You can wear thin, loose clothing, or conservative underwear or shorts and a vest. Your therapist will occasionally leave you alone, to allow the body to respond to the moves that have been made.
